2016 Summer Season Employment Opportunities
West Deptford Center Stage Players is hiring! We are an educational musical theatre organization for ages 4-18 based in South Jersey and partnered with the West Deptford School District. As an educational theater program, we hope to not only provide our young participants with a learning experience while they’re in the program, but also provide creatively fulfilling resume-building opportunities to theatre students and budding theatre professionals. -Teen Show Director
Stipend: $2,000. Choose and direct a musical for ages 14-18 through June and July. Hire two staff members (stipend- $1,000 each) to assist with blocking, music, choreography, stage management, and educational workshops, as needed. Tentative show dates: July 28-29.

-Technical Coordinator
Stipend: $3,000. Design and execute the technical aspects of two children’s productions and one teen production by managing a team of volunteers. Tentative show dates: July 14-15 & 28-29 (Children’s productions are performed in a double-feature).

-Workshop Coordinator
Stipend: $1,000. Develop and execute 18 educational workshops on topics throughout the theatre world for children aged 4-13 during the time period of June 20 - July 7. Utilize an educational budget for supplies and to invite guest workshops. Must be good with children, educational experience a plus.

-Props Coordinator
Stipend: $300. Coordinate the stage properties of two children’s productions and one teen production. Manage donations, volunteers, and a props budget to create or acquire needed props. Tentative show dates: July 14-15 & 28-29 (Children’s productions are performed in a double-feature).

-Costume Coordinator
Stipend: $750. Coordinate the costumes of two children’s productions and one teen production. Manage donations, volunteers, and a costume budget to create or acquire needed costumes. Tentative show dates: July 14-15 & 28-29 (Children’s productions are performed in a double-feature).

-Daytime Assistant
